
Google Classroom Guardian Summaries

With Little SIS, if a Teacher has Guardian Summaries turned ON for a class, guardian emails will automatically be synced from Frontline TEAMS into your synced Google Classroom classes.
How do I turn Guardian Summaries ON in Google Classroom?
- Log into Google Classroom.
- Click the Class you want to edit.
- Click Settings.
- Under General, click the switch ON for Guardian summaries.
- Check the box for Add all the classes you teach to guardian email summaries box.
- Click Add Class
- Click SAVE.
You can also click the "Enable guardian access" button located in the "Students" section under "Classwork".

Do NOT manually add OR remove guardian email addresses in Google Classroom classes, this will interfere with the sync and that guardian's ability to receive Google Classroom summaries from other classes.
What's included in the Guardian Email Summary?
- Missing work—Work not turned in when the summary was sent.
- Upcoming work—Work that’s due today and tomorrow (for daily emails) or that’s due in the upcoming week (for weekly emails).
- Class activity—Announcements, assignments, and questions recently posted by teachers.
Guardians who sign up for email summaries can’t see the Stream, Classwork, People, or Grades pages in Classroom.

Share these resources with guardians so they get the most out of Guardian Email Summaries. If a parent already signed up to receive Guardian Email Summaries, their email will be removed if it's not what is entered into TEAMS.
