We Love Libraries Week
Come join us February 4th to the 7th for We Love Libraries Week hosted by the University of Maine at Augusta. Events include:
- The keynote address entitled "Global Focus, Local Impact - Trends in International Librarianship" given by Rebecca Green, Assistant Editor of the Dewey Decimal System.
- A movie screening of "Storm Center" (1956) that will be held in two locations. "Storm Center" is the story of a librarian labeled a Communist when she refuses to remove a book from her library's shelf.
- Finally, there will be exhibits open at the Maine State Library.
