In the year of 1620 the Pilgrims set sail on there voyage on the boat called the Mayflower. The Pilgrims were facing persecution back in England.When the Pilgrims were on there voyage they got stuck in a harsh storm they landed in Cape Cod and started there colony of Plymouth.Before anyone got off the boat all the men aboard the boat they signed the Mayflower Compact to make equal laws. After that they got off and tried to build there colony they faced a harsh winter and many people died.In the spring when men were putting out seed a Wampanoag native named Samoset came and said hi and told about another native named Squanto.Squanto helped the Pilgrims plant food get fish and many other things. The Wampanoag chief who's name is Massasoit made a peace treaty with the Pilgrims and that fall the pilgrims had a vast harvest and celebrated with the natives.
This is a replica of the Mayflower which took the Pilgrims to Cape Cod. The Mayflower was beat up in a harsh storm on the way to Virginia but washed away to Cap Cod.
William Bradford
This is a picture of a statue of William Bradford who is the leader of the Pilgrims who made a peace treaty with the Wampanoag tribe.
Children Clothes
Children used to wear much clothes like their father and mother.
Brotherhood
The pilgrims made a peace treaty with the Native Americans like the tribe wampanoag with the chief Massasoit to live as neighbors or what natives would have called brothers.
