ATTENTION PARENTS OF STUDENTS GRADUATING 2020...
Senior Photo Requirements: Due Friday, September 27th. Only digital submissions will be accepted.
Please read these directions carefully. Photos not submitted according to the requirements creates extra work and causes delays. Life can get hectic, but not having the pictures complicates our ability to manufacture the pages and meet our deadline with the publisher. Missing a deadline delays delivery of the yearbooks at the end of the year.
Email to: dbean@lakeland272.org Photos must be at least 300 dpi (if you submit from your phone it normally won't meet this requirement), send it from a computer. File name needs to be changed to the senior’s name: last name first, not the random number assigned by the camera and it needs to be a jpeg file. Please send it as an attachment.
If you are not sure how to do these things, check Google or YouTube.
Photo must be a vertical or portrait orientation, NOT landscape and no inappropriate props will be accepted. The yearbook adviser and LHS Administration has the right to refuse photos for what we consider inappropriate. Our decision will be final.
LAKELAND LITERACY ANNUAL SUMMER BOOK CLUB
Please join Lakeland Literacy Project for our second annual Summer Book Club! Parents and their students will meet with us at Majestic Park to enjoy a great book, learn how to read with your child to foster an acquisition of reading skills, and help our students develop a life-long love of reading. This is a great opportunity for parents to read with their child and participate in rich student led discussions of fiction. Meals will be provided for all participants. We are excited to surprise you with another great book this summer! Our suggested ages varies depending on your reader, but generally 3rd grade to jr high to high school students would enjoy the book club. If you have any questions about age/grade give us a call!
For your convenience we will offer two sessions each Thursday-one midday and another in the evening. Feel free to choose whichever fits your schedule best. We will meet on the following Thursdays from 11:30-1:00pm or 5:30-7:00 pm at Majestic Park: 6/13, 6/20, 6/27, 7/11, 7/18, and 7/25 will be a special film presentation of the chosen book! This is a free program, but we do ask that you register to help us to prepare for our time together! Please Click HERE to register or call 687-0431. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask!
