The Great Wall of China
The building of the Great Wall of China was ordered by Emperor Qin Shihuangdi in 220 B. C -206 B.C. running east to west across the northern borders of China. It is the longest man-made structure stretching approximately 3, 900 miles long.
The wall's purpose was to protect the Chinese empire from intrusions by various warlike people.
According to the U.S. astronaut, Neil Armstrong, the Great Wall of China is not visible from the moon.
