Additional Graduation Ticket Distribution
Due to the size of the graduating class and the capacity restrictions at the stadium seniors will be receiving 5 graduation tickets. If you are in need of tickets beyond the five issued per student, we will be passing out additional graduation tickets on June 7th beginning at 7:00 am. The line will start at the front gate. Tickets are limited, so we will only pass out a single ticket to for each adult in line until we no longer have any tickets. "Challenge Success" at Beckman
As the principal of Beckman High School, I want to let you know about a program that we are participating in beginning next school year. It’s a program designed to maintain the current academic levels we are so proud to have achieved, but address the potential stress, anxiety, and/or competition that often exists at a high-performing high school. “Challenge Success” comes out of The Stanford Graduate School of Education and has been implemented successfully at high schools across the country. Here is a link to additional information about the program that is specific to parents. Also, if you are interested, there is a book that has been published related to the program that is titled “Overworked and Underprepared.” A number of our staff members have committed to reading the book in an effort to better educate themselves on the issues potentially present in our current culture.
