There are lots of exciting things happening in February. The 3rd grade and 5th grade students will go to Nature Trails, the Valentine’s exchange for all grade levels, the 99th day of school, Kindergarten’s 100th day, and Dance Across Texas for grades K-2, spirit cart and 2 spirit nights. It is certainly an exciting and busy time at Copeland in February.
Our terrific Third graders will be performing on Tuesday, February 12th at 6:30pm. It will undoubtedly be a wonderful show, so I hope that you will all plan to come out and watch this musical. We will have a brief general PTO meeting right before. I hope to see you all there!
Over the next few months, we will begin advertising any open chairman positions we will have for the 2019-2020 school year. The chairman positions are a one-year term. I hope you will consider getting involved if you haven’t already! If you are currently a chairman, please communicate with your Board Liaison regarding your plans for the next school year.

Science Resource Center-Selina Sauceda
Happy New Year! Below you will find the training schedules for the Spring Semester. Besides the regular SRC demos, 3rd and 5th grades will also be attending Nature Trails in February. In order to attend this field trip as a volunteer, you must attend a training session. The final training for this field trip is listed in the links below, under the appropriate grade level. Please take a look at the links below and see which trainings you can attend!
Demo trainings are generally good for 3 years, unless the demo has changed. If you feel you need a “refresher”, feel free to sign up for a demo training. If you are comfortable teaching a demo based on your past training, email email@example.com to be added to the trained volunteer list.
Simply click on the link below for the corresponding grade level and sign up for ONE of the available training times per Demo. After completion of training, email firstname.lastname@example.org and I will add you to the trained volunteer list and provide you with demo dates at Copeland!
