More than a school, we are a family.
Our 2019-2020 School Theme is Amazing Encounters with Jesus!
Coronavirus Information
There are four basic steps that we all can take to help prevent the spread of illnesses such as viruses, the common cold and flu:
- Wash hands frequently throughout the day. Be sure to wash with warm water and for at least 20 – 40 seconds or the time it takes to sing Happy Birthday once or twice.
- Cover your mouth and nose with tissue NOT your hands when you cough or sneeze. Use your sleeve at the elbow if you don’t have tissues.
- Avoid close contact (less than six feet) with people who are sick or seem sick.
- Avoid touching your face and eyes.
As with all illnesses, home is the best place to be when feeling ill or exhibiting symptoms.
When is too sick for school?
- Students should stay home if they have a fever without medication or if they have thrown up or have diarrhea.
- Students may return to school following an illness if they have not taken any fever reducing medication for 24 hours, haven't had a fever for 24 hours, or haven't thrown up or had any diarrhea for 24 hours.
Please keep in mind that they are still contagious even if the medication masks the symptoms. This has been a difficult year with the flu, strep-throat, and stomach flu. Please help us keep this under control by keeping sick students at home.
