Sir William Crookes was a English born in London, England on June, 17, 1832. He is most commonly known for discovering the element Thallium, and creating the Crookes Tube.
A Crookes tube is an early experimental electrical discharge tube, with partial vacuum, invented by English physicist William Crookes.
