STEM PLC Norms
Purpose: Explore STEM and PBL best practice & instructional strategies. Analyze & monitor student performance. Learn and grow as a team. We will stick to our agenda. Please discuss any potential agenda items by Monday of each week with Ms. Clark.
Engagement: All attendees have meaningful participation and contributions. No cell phone usage please.
Record Keeping: A designated note-taker will record STEM PLC learning & decisions on a Google Doc in the campus team drive. Team leaders will communicate with team members not in attendance each week.
Questions or concerns regarding the STEM program, students, or teachers should be brought up during PLC time for discussion and resolution.
Agenda
1. Energy Day October 20th
- Leave at 10:00, return around 2:00
- STEM shirts
- $ for food trucks
- Adults - Allen, Capotorto, Montemayor, Taylor, ? (Need 5 adults from the campus - seek parents if necessary).
- Bus is confirmed
- Deadline for permission slips is October 16th. Please email your total # of students attending to Ms. Clark on this day.
2. Advertise Movie Night - Remind, flyers, announcements
3. Ambassadors
- Will collect applications with teacher recommendations & AP signature from team leader on Monday, October 15th

5. DCA 1 Preparation
6. PBL #2 - Be prepared to share your plan/idea in PLC next week. Begin typing up your planning document. Contact Ms. Clark for your plan review meeting at least one week prior to implementation.
