K-6 Student of the Week for Jan. 8
Ms. Bongard nominates Kenyon Miller for student of the week. Kenyon is a 6th grade student and is the son of Charlene and Kenneth Miller. Right from the beginning of the school year, Kenyon set a goal for himself to improve his reading. He has worked hard at meeting that goal and has had a wonderful attitude with all of the challenges he has worked on with Ms. Bongard. He brings joy and enthusiasm to each day. In his free time, Kenyon likes to play baseball, build with legos, and read every DogMan book possible. With his positive attitude and determination, Kenyon will surely achieve whatever goal he sets for himself, including being an awesome reader.
U.P. Youth Poet Laureate Awarded
