Teacher Groups!
You will meet with a teacher group at least one time this week. Some groups will get to meet 2 times!!
Tuesday
1. Ten Marks: Area Models to Multiply
- This is taken for a grade. Be sure to complete any amplifiers or do-overs in order to complete this assignment.
2. If you complete your Ten Marks, you may get a partner and play Multiplication Tic Tac Toe!
- You will need a pencil, piece of paper, and a calculator.
- One partner will make up a 2x2 multiplication problem and will check the answer on a calculator while the other partner uses the area model to solve it!
- If you are correct, you get to place your X or O on the Tic-Tac-Toe board. If you get the answer wrong, no mark is made!
- Switch! Now it is the other partner's turn to solve a problem!
- When a Tic-Tac-Toe game is won, bring your game board AND YOUR MATH PROBLEMS to me for a sticker!
- Play again!
Wednesday
1. Complete Multiplication Word Problems with a partner from your table.
- Bring this to Mrs. Villiard to be checked.
- Correct any mistakes!
2. If you complete your Word Problems, you and your partner can play Multiplication Tic Tac Toe!

Thursday
1. Practice today's skill in IXL
- Go to 3rd Grade and practice N.10
- When you get to an 90% I will give you a dojo for "Working Hard"!
2. Play Rockingham Remainders with a partner!
- You will need a game board, die, 2 bottle caps, and scrap paper to do your work
- choose a number on the board to cover.
- Roll your die!
- Divide the number you covered by the number you rolled.
- The remainder is your score!
- The first player to 20 wins! Come to Mrs. Villiard with your work for a prize!
