Principal's Piece
Tena Koutou Katoa Weber Whanau,
Week 10 already and a week when the winter bugs/flu have hit our teaching staff, myself included. Thank you for your support and understanding when we were unable to open due to this amount of sickness in our staff.
A huge thank you to Alice Beamish, and Amanda Tippett for organising the disco, the hall committee and numerous parent helpers for making the disco a Community event so that it could still go ahead. It was a great evening with lots of fantastic costumes, dancing, food and games too. Some photos of the night below. An awesome way to end the term !!
The first week back next term we welcome the Life Education Trust and Harold which has been rescheduled from earlier in the year due to Covid.
Next term I will continue to share the teaching role in Room 2 with Jaime Arnold. I will be teaching three days and Jaime teaching two days.
A huge thank you to all the staff and tamariki for their hard work this term - enjoy a well deserved break with family and friends.
We look forward to seeing everyone back on Monday 25 July.
