Health Effects

Calories - Too many calories or not burning them off fast enough through physical activity can lead to wait gain. Too little calories can lead to Anorexia, extreme weight loss, or slowing down metabolism.

Fat - Too much fat consumption can lead to obesity, heart disease, and type 2 diabetes. Too little fat will derease your cardiovascular health, interfere with appetite control, and cause permenant brain injury.

Carbohydrates - Eating excessive carbs continually creates a cluster of symptoms now best known as metabolic syndrome and sometimes called syndrome X or insulin-resistance syndrome. If you eat too few carbs, you may experience some unpleasant side effects. According to Mayo Clinic, these may include dizziness, headaches, weakness, fatigue, nutrient deficiencies, nausea, diarrhea, mental fatigue and even bad breath.

Sugar - Too much sugar consumption can cause weight gain, tooth cavities, and type 2 diabetes.
