Five Reasons to be A Delt

ΔTΔ International Fraternity

Become a Delt!

1. LEGACY OF ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE

The Delta Tau Delta International Fraternity (ΔTΔ) has a proud legacy of academic excellence, minimum GPA requirements (2.5 or better) for new Delt members and a history of putting classroom achievement first ensure that this tradition continues. Zeta Chi actives' GPA for the Fall 2011 semester was 3.11. The fraternity also offers several scholarships for new members and actives.

2. LEADERSHIP SKILLS FOR LIFE

They say leaders are born, but Delta Tau Delta believes invaluable leadership skills can be imparted. ΔTΔ offers a variety of programs specifically designed to do just that. Fraternity members learn how to work together as a team and how to resolve their differences. They run for office, develop programs and implement their policies, chair committees and learn what it’s like to be responsible to other people.

3. PLEDGE OF SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

ΔTΔ: It’s just three letters, but they spell responsibility. New Delt members swear a fraternal oath when they join. More important, they take a pledge of social responsibility. Social responsibility means refusing to participate in hazing. It means showing the utmost respect for women. It means refusing to tolerate mental abuse, intimidation, mean-spirited personal criticism, and bullying.

4. DELT VALUES AT WORK

The four keystone words that best define the ΔTΔ value system are Courage, Truth, Faith, and Power. We believe these core values comprise the foundation for living
a life of excellence.

5. THE ROAD/PATH TO EXCELLENCE

Delta Tau Delta recently launched The Road, a member education program designed to provide essential “life skills training” to each of the fraternity’s members.
