Catch up on EXTREME WEATHER with Mr. Horak's Gifted 5!
What is Extreme Weather?
Our young scholars become meteorologists and explore the inner workings of Mother Nature! Students are separated into small groups to discover, research, analyze, become experts, and share what makes their wild weather or phenomenon become EXTREME!
Groups will work together to complete a banner that will include the following:
- possible causes of weather conditions
- Weather characteristics
- Weather records
- Weather locations or Hot Spots
- Weather preparations
- Weather tracking
- Fun facts...
Banners will also include catchy slogans, symbols, illustrations, and a creative flair.
