Fourth Grade News
For the Week of February 6, 2017
Monday is our 100th day of school!!!!
This week's focus
Writing: Students will continue to utilize their "small moments" to create personal narratives. We will explore some new examples of figurative language, and implement those in our writing!
Social Studies: This week will wrap up our unit on the Underground Railroad. Students will work with their reading partners to learn about one influential abolitionist/conductor.
Math: Students will finish up their unit on measurement and begin learning about points, lines, and angles. We will practice measurement throughout this week and next, and have the assessment Thursday, February 16th.
Science: Students will begin learning about mass, volume, and density through readings, discussions, videos, and hands-on measuring activities.

-Our Underground Railroad assessment has been rescheduled to Friday, 2/10. (Students will bring home study guides at the beginning of the week).
