Quinn Middle School Mathletes
On May 31st, Quinn held its annual Award Ceremony for the Math Competition League members. Maria Ricciuti, the Math Coach was joined by Robert Knittle, the Math Curriculum Director, to present trophies, certificates, medals, and ribbons to the students in honor of their accomplishments.
This past fall, many students competed (in-person or virtually) with students across the nation and around the world, in the Noetic Learning Math Competition. They did an outstanding job and we are very proud of their hard work! In addition to the competition, members met after school once each week throughout the school year to discuss math, solve challenging math problems, and sometimes even present math problem challenges to the principal, Mr. Gaglione. Congratulations!

Hudson Parent/Caregiver Survey on Youth Substance Use
The Hudson Youth Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition (YSAP), in partnership with the Hudson Health Department, is collecting information from parents/caregivers on their opinions of youth substance use in the community. We kindly ask that you take some time to thoughtfully complete the survey, which is estimated to take only 6 minutes. The data collected will be used to determine priorities, raise awareness, and support local programs and policies to address youth substance use in Hudson and the MetroWest region more broadly. We hope to aid parents and caregivers so that they are best able to support youth in healthy and informed decision-making. Please note that the survey is completely anonymous, participation is voluntary, and all questions are optional. We encourage one or more parents/caregivers from each household to take the survey - the more responses the better - so please share with family and friends. Any questions can be directed to Julie Zieff at the Health Department at JZieff@townofhudson.org. You can learn more about the Hudson YSAP Coalition at https://www.hudsonhealthdept.org/coalition. Thank you for your time and support of this important initiative!

MassHealth Redetermination for Families
Families have been automatically renewed with MassHealth benefits since February 2020. Starting April 1, 2023, MassHealth will begin the eligibility redetermination process, renewing all 2.3M members over the following 12 months. This will generally be the first-time members are at risk of losing their coverage since February 2020. In preparation for this effort, MassHealth has increased staffing significantly to handle a greater volume of calls and applications, improved our systems to automatically renew as many members' coverage as possible, and is working in close collaboration with health plans, providers, and other stakeholders.
MassHealth has provided the Masshealth redeterminations brochure in multiple language.

· Spanish: https://www.mass.gov/doc/masshealth-redeterminations-brochure-1/download

MassHealth has assistance for redetermination for families who are not citizens in multiple languages.

If you currently have MassHealth watch for the BLUE folder (see below) arriving in the US Postal Service from MassHealth with important information about to apply for the eligibility process for redetermination. Families must respond to the contents of the envelope to reapply for MassHealth. Once a member receives a blue envelope in the mail, they have a number of ways they can submit their renewal.
