Great week for learning

As a principal, it can sometimes be a bit scary when there is a Spirit Week. But there's something about our staff and students that took away all of my fears. We had Red Day, Hat Day, Crazy Socks Day, Pajama Day, and Black and Orange Day. Staff and students alike dressed the part and the learning just kept on going. I am proud of our students and staff every day, and this is just one more example.

MathCounts has begun again

6th-8th graders who enjoy math should consider MathCounts These mathletes will be able to compete in MathCounts competitions during the school year. 5th grade mathletes are also welcome to attend but are unable, due to MathCounts rules, to participate in the competitions. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Meissner.

Skyward App- A new look

Many of you have uploaded the Skyward App to your phones or mobile devices. I have done the same as I find it easier to use and navigate then using the computer. Well, if you haven't been on it lately, you'll notice a new look when you open it next time. Please take the time to give it a try and if you have any questions, contact either Dawn Baumgartner (baumgartnerd@merton.k12.wi.us) or me.

Staff blog

If you've gotten this far in the smore, congratulations! There is a lot to share this week and I have just this one thing more, our staff blog. This will be updated weekly, if not more often. If you have a moment, please check out this link.

Health Room refrigerator

After over 30 years of service, our health room refrigerator has stopped working. If you have one that you would like to donate, please contact Mrs. Emmerich (emmerichb@merton.k12.wi.us) or me. We don't need anything fancy. We just need working refrigerator with a freezer compartment. Thanks for your consideration.
