Leaders from our affinity groups here at Seaholm will be meeting to create a plan for a forum to discuss recent events in our country that have contributed to a divisive cultural experience for our citizenship. Our own students are active and engaged learners not only in academics, but also in political, cultural, and social current events. Our role as a faculty is to guide our students to participate in civil discourse, but also to hear from them so that we can expand our own frames of reference in order to optimize their support and engagement. Students will be provided with details so they can attend the forum and engage in this important conversation.
