Christ Jesus

When we open our eyes, may You be there;

When we open our ears, may You be there;

When we open our mouths, may You be there;

When we open our diaries, may You be there.

Help us to see with Your eyes;
Help us to hear with Your ears;
Help us to speak Your truth in love;
Help us to make time for You for others for ourselves.

Dear St. Thomas' Community,

Staffing: I wish to inform all parents that Mrs. Jenny Kell and Mrs. Val Dragon have both tendered their resignations to me. Jenny has been on Long Service Leave for the past 18 months and will officially conclude her time at St. Thomas’ as of the end of Term Two 2019 and Val will conclude her time at St. Thomas’ as of the end of Term Four 2019. Both ladies have made a significant contribution to St. Thomas’. Val has taught at St. Thomas’ for 41 years and Jenny 30 years. Their 71 years combined of dedication to the students at St. Thomas’ in their care cannot be measured and truly symbolizes the ‘shining’ light of Nan Nagle’s vision. We will farewell both ladies and thank them for their contributions at our End of Year Concert.

New Families: Over the last eight weeks it has been wonderful to welcome eight new students and their families to the St. Thomas’ into community. We also have another four students joining the school at the start of Term Three. Wonderful news and a big thanks to those families that have recommended our school to friends and colleagues.

Year Three Assembly: Our next major assembly of the year will take place tomorrow Friday 14 June. The Year Three class will be showcasing their learning journey. Best of luck Year Three’s.
