BE in the Know ~ April 14, 2023
A Community Committed to Learning!
Buchanan Elementary
Dear families,
Spring has sprung and excitement is in the air! As a parent myself, I understand the busyness of spring with all the end of year happenings, celebrations, sporting events, and so much more to juggle as a family! So, in effort to keep you well informed, organized, planned out, engaged, and in the know of all things happening at school, please read below and feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions!
Thanks for sharing your child(ren) with us and helping us finish the school year strong and connected!
Sincerely,
Dr. April Hawkins
You are invited to our Block Party next Friday night ~ Bring the whole family!
Outstanding 3rd grade leaders of strong character and learning honored!
Congratulations to
Oscar Aguilar
T'ahna Harris
These learners were honored this past Wednesday at the Junior High Student Council Character Breakfast by Dr. Hawkins, representing Buchanan Elementary for their character, leadership, and educational excellence.
Other things to BE in the Know on...
School start time and spring testing
Just a friendly reminder, learning starts promptly at 8:40 a.m. each day! Please help us get your learners off to a great start by helping us ensure they are seated and in class by 8:40 a.m. each day! If you arrive after 8:40 a.m., we'll need you to escort your child into the building and ensure we get them checked in!
Thanks so much!
