GRADES/EVALUATION OF STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT

Whenever it becomes evident to a teacher that a student is in danger of failing a course, the teacher shall arrange a conference with the student's parent/guardian or send the parent/guardian a written report. (Education Code 49067) (AR 5124 (a))


PLEASE UPDATE YOUR JUPITER GRADES.

ADMIN will be pulling data on all D/F student grades from Jupiter and sending home a mass email to parents and students about their progress this week. If you would prefer not to have your students included for the mass email, please notify Rich and Hector by the end of the school day on Wednesday, November 12. If you are using Canvas for your grades and would like to be included, please stop by so that we can have your students added.

Mobile Technology Learning Center - U.S.D.

USD is providing an indepoendent audit on the use of technology within the Sweetwater Union High School District. "The goal is to ‘duck’ into classes for a few minutes, observe what is happening in the classroom and look at technology use and availability and then move onto another classroom." During these walkthroughs, they will be taking notes on their walkthrough form.


USD will be on site on Thursday, November 13th from 10-11am. Please see Rich if you have any questions.

This tool allows you to learn anytime and anywhere! Students can explore their interests and teachers can supplement their lessons with wonderful videos, web links, apps, and more. You can do everything from a tour around Stanford University to taking a course on economics with Harvard. This is an app that all students and teachers should explore! Check it out.
