In 1980 the company started to sell pints in grocery stores. The extra money helped the bills get payed at the scoop shop. Then in 1981 Ben and Jerry opened a franchise in Shelburne, Vermont to make more ice cream.

Ben and Jerry didn't enjoy the jobs they had so they decided to make a business. They knew exactly that it had to be for food. Because they loved sweets so much, they decided to make an ice cream company. But they had some difficulties along the way.

Along the years Ben and Jerry have made over 100+ flavors. This is a great idea, because then the costumers have many choices. The people who come up with the flavors are flavor guruś
