History
In 1978 Ben and Jerry Opened the first ever Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream scoop shop, in Burlington Vermont. It was a huge success and held many attractions. 2 years later the company started to sell pints in grocery stores. The extra money helped pay bills ect.
Progression
In 1980 the company started to sell pints in grocery stores. The extra money helped the bills get payed at the scoop shop. Then in 1981 Ben and Jerry opened a franchise in Shelburne, Vermont to make more ice cream.

Impact
They give back to the community by having free cone day. This happens every year. They also have a charity that they give to every day. Ben and Jerry try to come up with as many flavors as possible to please the costumers.
Insparation
Ben and Jerry didn't enjoy the jobs they had so they decided to make a business. They knew exactly that it had to be for food. Because they loved sweets so much, they decided to make an ice cream company. But they had some difficulties along the way.
