Northern Soldier (Union Soldier)

1.The Northern Soldier was a soldier that fought for the Union States and believed that slavery was wrong.
2. The Northern Soldier could have many roles such as cavalry, artillery, navy, medic, and supplies. But they all fought for the same cause to end slavery and keep the states together.
3. Many of the men were only in the war seeking glory. Many were excited that a war was happening. But soon into the war as their brothers in arms were falling by the hundreds many had different thoughts as the war progressed.
4. many soldiers were farmers, they wore wool uniforms.
5.I would have had mixed feelings about the war because so many friends had died and there was a chance every second that I could be next.

Southern Soldier (Confederate Soldier)

1.The Southern Soldier was a soldier that fought for the Confederate States and believed that slavery was okay.
2.The Southern Soldier could have many roles such as cavalry, artillery, navy, medic, and supplies. But they all fought for the same cause to protect the South and keep slavery alive.
3. Many of the men were only in the war seeking glory. Many were excited that a war was happening. But soon into the war as their brothers in arms were falling by the hundreds many had different thoughts as the war progressed.
4. Most of the soldiers were plantation owners, they could have won the war if the Queen of England backed them up.
5. I would have fought courageously if that is the cause I believed was right it would have taken a couple Minnie Balls before I would die.

President Abraham Lincoln (Northern Politician)

1.President Abraham Lincoln was a politician of the Union and wanted to keep the States together.
2.He was the President/Commander of the Union.
3. He felt important because he was. He must have been nervous because the wars tides could change at anytime.
4. He never told a lie he kept mail in his top-hat.
5. I would have felt proud to be the greatest president in U.S. history but when i felt a bullet enter my head I would be positive that the greatness I had achieved would not go in vain.
