Grandparents Day is Friday, September 13.

Next Friday is Grandparents Day. All grandparents are invited to a special assembly starting in our gymnasium at 10:00 am. Classrooms will be presenting music, poems and special tributes for our grandparents who provide us with so much love and support. After the assembly grandparents are invited to stay and join kids in the classrooms. The cafeteria is also providing a lunch for families who want to eat together on this special day. If purchased before Friday, you can buy meal tickets in the office for $8.00. If you are buying tickets on Friday they can be purchased in the cafeteria for $9.00. There will also be many great photo opportunities to remember this special day.

Picture Day is this Wednesday, Sept. 11.

Make sure you don't miss picture day this Wednesday. Students are to wear their chapel uniform. Classroom pictures will also be taken. If your child is a part-time pre-kindergarten student, please plan to have your child's picture taken. We want everyone to be present in our yearbook. You are not required to purchase pictures but it is an option for you to choose.
If you look at the calendar you will notice we have P/T Conferences scheduled for Monday, October 28. We also found out last week that the Friday of the same week we will not have school because of a teacher inservice held by the conference. So we are asking you if you would prefer to group the two days of no school together or to leave it the same. The current schedule has Monday and Friday with no school. The option we feel may better serve you is to move the Monday date and have Thursday and Friday with no school. Please share your opinion in the attached survey.
Monday - Quesadillas, Pinto Beans, Corn, Salad Bar, Fruit, Milk

Tuesday - Cheese Calzones, Marinara Sauce, Chips, Cucumbers Sticks, Fruit Juice, Milk

Wednesday - bow tie Pasta, Alfredo Sauce, Steamed Vegetables, Garlic Vegetables, Spring Mix Salad, Fruit, Milk

Thursday - Hot Dog, Tater Tots, String Cheese, Carrots Sticks, Dessert, Fruit Juice, Milk

Friday (Grandparents Day) - Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Swiss Steaks, Honey Wheat Dinner Rolls, Green Beans, Greek Salad, Dessert, Fruit Juice, Milk

Just a fun chapel video that will put a smile on your face.
