Hawk Happenings

Special Edition

Happy Wednesday, HRBA Families!

We are getting close to our Christmas Program and the 2 week vacation. Can you believe it? After the break, we start right off with the Missoula Children's Theater and the student production of Robinson Crusoe. Have you signed your child up for this amazing week of acting? For just $50, your child will have 5 days of rehearsals (January 6-10) and will perform in 2 plays (January 10 & 11). This is all led by professional actors. Students in grades 1 - 6 will also be able to attend special workshops throughout the week. It is a fantastic opportunity. If you would like your child to participate, please contact the office for a permission slip and to make a payment. Just call 253-272-7012, email office@holyrosarybilingual.org, or stop by the office. This Christmas, give your child the gift of acting. The deadline is Monday, Dec. 16th!

Blessings,

Katie Dempsey

Our Lady of Guadalupe Mass

The Our Lady of Guadalupe mass on Monday was AMAZING! The students did all of their reading parts in Spanish and they sounded phenomenal. The processional was filled with beautiful flowers and kindergarten students dressed as Juan Diego (who received a special blessing from Fr. Elias Puentes during the mass). Then, the dancers performed their special Aztec dance at the end, with drumming by Ms. Lucia. Thank you to Ms. Jackie and Ms. Lucia for their work on this incredible event, as well as the amazing costumes. Here are some photos of the special day.

Unwanted Visitors on Campus

With the weather getting worse for the winter, we are seeing more unwanted visitors seeking refuge on our campus at night. We are working with the local police on this issue and please know that we contact the police each time we find someone at the campus. This not only allows the police to address the immediate situation but also demonstrates the need for increased patrols in the area, especially after hours. If you notice someone in or around the campus, please don't hesitate to let the staff know immediately.
