Pine Road Grows Great Kids

September 09, 2021

Dear Pine Road Families,

As we settle into the 2021-2022 school year, It is great to see our students getting established with their new teachers and routines in an in-person learning environment. We have been spending these first days of school developing positive classroom culture and ensuring that each student is prepared for academic, social, and emotional success as we return to a fully in-person model.

As we navigate the return to a more normal year, I want to reiterate the importance of patience and grace as we navigate the start of this school year. While many of our procedures are returning to more normal operations, flexibility and responsiveness will still be needed!

Lastly, I want to commend our fantastic students! Our students serve as an inspiration to me! Their spirit, resilience, and dedication are constant inspirations to me!

Please take this time to review our 21-22 Back to School Letter, as well as the latest PADOH Mask Mandate that went into effect on the 7th, and the updated FAQ.

I wish everyone an excellent rest of the month and a successful school year ahead.

Scott Cole

Car Line Protocol

With many families utilizing the car-line this year (many for the first time!), a few reminders will allow us to ensure safety and efficiency for all.

  • Adults should not exit vehicles. We have staff that is fully prepared to assist students safely entering and exiting vehicles.
  • Unless directed by school staff, please do not pass other cars in the car-line. This can create dangerous situations.
  • While waiting on Pine Road to enter the loop, please ensure you are not blocking our side streets. Many of our buses utilize these side streets. Please also pull as far over as safely possible.
  • Please have your car-line name tag clearly displayed. If you need a tag, please ask Mr. Radway as he is checking you in, and we can ensure you receive one.
  • Please note that the walker line is reserved for families that walk from home to school and back. Please do not park and come to the walker line to pick up students.
