Math 7 Information
We are starting the New Year off with a new unit! This week we will be learning all about what makes geometric figures mathematically similar. This is a very important basic concept that we will be using in many geometric applications. Look for objects that are exactly the same except for their sizes.
Math Honors 7 Information
We are very excited for the new year and 2016 in Honors Math 7! Our new unit will cover determining the rate of change from a graph, table, context, and an equation. Students should start looking at the relationship of steepness in real life examples that relate to them such as: ski slopes, ramp heights, etc. We will be addressing "slope" and the rise/run relationship. Our first quiz is next Friday!
Students have also been given their NEW 4th 6 Weeks Calendar with upcoming events!
