PUSD Update

January 7, 2021

Redistricting impacts YOU, be a part of the process!

Please join PUSD and our Redistricting Commission and add your voice to a historical process.

The Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD) is seeking input for the 2021-2022 redistricting effort that will impact the district’s school board of education area boundaries in future elections.

Big picture

Redistricting will not affect children’s attendance at schools.

Every 10 years, PUSD Board of Education Member boundaries are re-drawn to account for population change. Redistricting is done using U.S. Census data, which was released in August 2021.

PUSD families and stakeholders from Pasadena, Altadena, and Sierra Madre should attend this Public Hearing because we need your input on redistricting maps and boundaries that could affect your current board member representation.
