Prekindergarten Press
November 11th-November 15th
Dear Families,
What a year it has been so far! It is hard to believe that the holidays are right around the corner, but before that we still have a lot more new knowledge to fill our ever expanding minds with!
Subjects Matter
Literature
One of our goals this week is for our students to be able to produce a word that rhymes with a given word. In order to help us accomplish this task I will be introducing "The Cat in the Hat" by Dr. Seuss, as well as working with rhyming baskets and cards.
Science
This week we will be also be taking a "Nature Talk, Nature Walk" so that we can learn about the nature that exists around us every day! This will take place on our very own campus outside and it will also prepare us to be aware of the nature around us for our field day.
Mathematics
To wrap up our 1-10 number line we will be covering numbers 7,8, and 9. We be using our counting cubes so that the number sequence will continue the same as we have been working.
Don't forget field day is 11/15!
We will be traveling to the Houston Zoo December 5th, don't forget to return your permission slips!

Miss Flores' Corner
Dear Families,
This week as you see we will be having Field Day, we are still in need of volunteers to work this event. If you are available I would love any of my "Flores Friendly Faces" parent's to come and show your support. If you are wanting to volunteer for this event please contact myself or the school so that we may assign you a designated area.
With Care,
Miss Flores
