OUSD COVID-19 Dashboard

We have created a dashboard on our website to maximize transparency about cases in the District. The Dashboard is continuously being improved and refined. Data will be updated to reflect changes in enrollment and as cases are confirmed.

Dear OUSD Community,

With elementary and middle school students back on campus, we look forward to finally transitioning our high school students back in-seat starting this Friday, October 16.

High School Campus Return Dates:

  • Thursday, October 15 (start of the second quarter): Grade 9 Cohort B, Grade 12 Cohort B, All Richland High School Students
  • Friday, October 16: Grade 10 Cohort B, Grade 11 Cohort B,
  • Monday, October 19: Grade 12 Cohort A, Grade 9 Cohort A
  • Tuesday, October 20: Grade 11 Cohort A Grade 10 Cohort A

For questions about cohort groups or other site-specific information, please reach out to your school site.

Our COVID-19 Dashboard continues to be updated and improved, and we are happy to share that it is now also available in Spanish. To maximize transparency about confirmed-positive cases in the District, data is updated to reflect changes in enrollment and as cases are confirmed. Current positive cases include those reported within the last 14 days. We also continue to work in partnership with the Orange County Health Care Agency (OCHCA) to conduct contact tracing and notification of families and staff should any positive cases of COVID-19 occur.

Tomorrow, October 15, the Board of Education will hold their regular meeting as scheduled. We invite interested members of the public to view the live-stream of the meeting, which will start at 7 PM: https://teams.microsoft.com/l/meetup-join/19%3ameeting_OWJlNzgxODAtMGE1Yi00ZTVkLWEyYmItZjgzNDk1NTFjOTIx%40thread.v2/0?context=%7b%22Tid%22%3a%220b488aeb-c603-41c5-9a06-3f07b75c4789%22%2c%22Oid%22%3a%2228a84263-bd3e-4b93-8278-86ebe02841ae%22%2c%22IsBroadcastMeeting%22%3atrue%7d. Those wishing to submit public comments may do so until noon on the meeting date. These links, as well as a link to the meeting agenda, are available in BoardDocs.

Our latest news and announcements will continue to be shared on the OUSD website, through School Messenger, and on social media. If you are not receiving School Messenger emails and would like to do so, please contact your school site or sign up for our mailing list on smore.

Warmest Regards,
