Why do teens join gangs ?

Teens join gangs because they want a part of something, they feel intimidated and they want to feel protected in some kind of way.for them they join a family that they didn't have.

'They want people to picture them as someone cool because they are in a gang and people will see them different and also talk to them differently. They are looked like different people .

When they grow up in a gang environment they don't want to be intimidated by other gang members so they just join and be part of it.When in the gang they dont realy experience intimidation.

When your in the gang you think your protected by the other members imagine your in a shout out your by yourself or with the other gang members. They feel that they have some won with them when times are hard.
