Available for adoption at Austin Pets Alive!

9 Year Old Boxer Mix!

After her owner moved away and left her behind, Bunny was brought to the shelter by a good Samaritan. She's looking for another, and she's hoping it's you.

Sweet is an understatement when describing this beautiful girl. She's an easy leash walker who enjoys one-on-one affection and LOVES treats. Though initially fearful of car rides, she now enjoys looking out the window and going on new adventures. Bunny is relaxed on a leash during crowded outings and loves meeting new friends.

She's crate trained - with a touch on her collar and hearing the word "crate," she'll head for it - and she seems to be house trained, although may do well with a refresher course.

Bunny spent some time sharing backyard space with another dog with no issues before being brought to the shelter. In foster care with three kids, she's gentle and loving with all of them. She loves adults and is happy to follow her people, staying close at all times.

Bunny is just the right blend of mellow and calm exuberance that will make a great addition to any household. She will do well in a quiet home with adults, and just as well in a more active home with kids and other dogs. If either description matches your home, come visit Bunny. She would love to meet you today!

And remember, all APA adoptions come with free behavior assistance through APA's behavior team!
