Tardys

Students are expected to be in their seats, ready to learn, at 8 AM each school day. Live and Flex students must be dropped off at the carline with enough time to get to their classroom before 8 AM. Beginning November 9th, parents arriving to drop off their child at 8 AM or later will need to park their car, walk their students to the main entrance and fill out an electronic form with their phone before the student will be admitted into the building. Please keep in mind that five (5) tardies equate to one absence for tracking purposes, per the state.

Students logging in from Afar are also expected to be logged on at 8 AM and ready to learn. They must also report to each subsequent class period on time and stay for the entire block. Leaving early or signing out of a Meet session without teacher permission is equivalent to walking out of a brick and mortar classroom and skipping class. Any students exhibiting this pattern of behavior will receive appropriate consequences.

Congratulations!!

We had two students participate in the virtual Jr. Thespian Regional Festival recently. Ayden Samuels received a Superior for his monologue and an Excellent for his Solo Musical performance and Rheese McCann received an Excellent for her Solo Musical performance. Both students qualified to compete at the Florida State Thespian Festival in January. Congratulations Ayden nd Rheese and thank you Mrs. Caperna and Miss Neena for working with our students.

Elementary students will be able to buy a cookie on Thursdays, if they have funds available on their account.
