Art news from Mrs. McGlaughlin

Remote Learning in Art - Here is a survey for families to provide data and feedback regarding remote learning in Art at home. Please click here. Thanks!

Dear families,

Thanks to everyone who has shared art with me via Artsonia this week! It has been fantastic to see all the work your children have created. I wanted to recap the resources I have for you to access one more time just in case you need them:

1. My website has lessons for different grade levels who have art as a special's rotation that week: Here you will see a lesson for each day along with which homeroom class has art each week. There are also mindfulness activities posted here if you are interested. Please feel free to have any child participate in an art lesson if that is helpful and convenient for you, regardless of the special's rotation.

2. My google classroom which has EXTRA art enrichment activities for students who would like more art, or need to ask questions:, with join code zrzhnbk.

3. Finally, the Artsonia access code is: YMJZ-BHPW.

Also, I you want to let you know that I sent out a survey to see what art materials you have on hand at home already so that I can plan accordingly. No materials are required to go out buy, please use what you already have on hand! If you don't have a material for the lesson, please substitute whatever you can find at home!

Please email me if need anything at all at

PE News from Mrs. Hamilton

Hope all are doing well. If your student has not had PE online yet and they are bored and need more activity, they can visit my Google Classroom (code: j2mgtym). Under classwork I have posted some ideas for extra activities. Only 2nd – 6th grades have a Google Classroom. I will continue to post more as I find them. I’m missing all your kids.
