PARENT LIAISON UPDATE
Now that summer is officially over, our thoughts turn to cooler weather. If you have warm winter coats and jackets that you no longer need, please know that I will be collecting those soon. However, if you are ready to hand off any donations to me now, you can email me at Susan.Ferguson@lcps.org and we'll make arrangements. Coats and jackets will need to be clean and in great shape to be accepted. 🙂
Women Giving Back in Sterling is in need of snack packs, socks, underwear, and diapers for their clients. This is the last week for this drive, so let's support this amazing organization by donating these items! A huge round of thanks to all who have contributed to this effort so far. You are amazing! I've created an Amazon wish list to collect food and hygiene items. WGB has also requested gently used or new children's and adult size tennis and athletic shoes.
Items purchased from the Amazon wish list will be shipped directly to the school, but if you are out shopping and would like to pick up any of these same items to donate, that would be greatly appreciated. There is a WGB collection bin in our school lobby and you are welcome to drop off your donations during the school day, M- F, between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm. Please do not donate clothing or additional items at this time! We are trying to honor the list that WGB has given us.
