Booker T. In the Early Years
Booker T. Washington was born to a white man and a black woman. He was a slave from birth and lived in a one room cabin with his mom. From an early age he was working carrying sacks of grain. Booker never had a formal education though he craved one greatly.
Booker T. Washington, A Progressive Man
Booker made a lot of progressions in his life. He established Tuskegee Institute for the African American's. He have a speech at the Atlanta Exposure to talk about the progressions he was going to make. He said don't worry about fitting in socially or getting an education. He said worry about the economics.
