All About Me
Sidnee Lee Baker
Who I Am.
My name is Sidnee Baker and I am a senior at Newton-Conover High school. I play volleyball. You could call it a passion of mine. I'm a twin. I live with her and my mother. They are my life. Without them, I wouldn't be me. I am funny and outgoing and fairly easy to get along with. I love hard and I strive to live like every moment could be my last.
Passion.
I have been playing volleyball since I was in the 7th grade. Playing has taught me more about life than anything in my opinion. It's taught me to work hard and dedicate myself. It's taught me to aim high and strive for more out of life. You can't find lessons like that in a text book.
Family First.
My sister and my mom have been one since day one. We have gone through a lot of stuff and it has only brought us closer. I'm so thankful to have them. I know that they will always have my back no matter what and that means so much to me.
Senior.
Being a senior is kind of overwhelming. They aren't kidding when they say high school flies by. I am excited to see where this last leg takes me and I can't wait to get out there and see what the world has to offer.
Science.
Science has always been a struggle for me. I didn't actually start liking it until last year. I started looking at it more and understanding it in a better way. I decided that taking Honors Physics would be a good indicator to see if it could possibly be a path I would be interested in taking after I graduate.
