How to participate in a chat
- Use a Twitter app, such as Tweetdeck, and add the hashtag #MichED as one of your columns.
- Follow the moderator (this evening @TrevorMuir) and the sponsoring handle (@MichED).
- Questions will be tweeted using "Q and A" format. Each question will have a "Q" and number before the question. Respond with "A" and the corresponding number before your reply.
- Let people know you're following the chat, even if you're lurking more than tweeting.
- Don't worry if you miss a question, especially if it is because you are having a "conversation" with other participants. It's actually more important to connect! Most chats create an archive after the event so people can review and respond even after the chat is complete.
- Don't worry if you're the newbie. There are always people to help.
