Adolf Hitler
Adolf Hitler was born on April 20th, 1889. Hitler feared disliked his father, Alois. Hitler was a devoted son to his mother, who died in 1907. He never advanced beyond a secondary education. He visited Vienna, then went back to Linz in hopes of becoming an artist. Hitler lived a lonely an secretive life. In 1913, Hitler moved to Munich. He later joined politics in 1919.
Pearl Harbor
In 1937, Japan declared war on China. This did not only make China mad, but it also aggravated Americans. Since Japan and Hawaii were only 3,000 miles apart, Japan attacked Hawaii. At about 8 am, Japanese planes flew above Pearl Harbor. A bomb was dropped on USS Arizona. The ship exploded and sank with over 1,000 people inside of it. By the end, the Japanese had destroyed over 20 American ships and over 300 American planes. Docks and air-fields were destroyed, over 2,500 men were killed, and 1,000 others were injured.
