As you’ve likely heard, the State’s mandated safety protocols will essentially end in July. This is great news and, barring any unforeseen circumstances, it is our plan that masking will be optional next school year. We will continue our enhanced cleaning efforts to prevent the spread of illness but I believe we are finally heading in the right direction.

I do want to clear up some misinformation about COVID vaccinations. First, COVID vaccinations are optional. They are not required for students or staff. As with other recommended vaccinations, it is ultimately parent choice as to whether to vaccinate their children. Secondly, at the request of Family Fare, the district recently provided facilities for vaccination clinics as a way to offer families a convenient option if they choose to receive the vaccination. This is in no way to be construed as a requirement but simply another opportunity for choice.

Summer learning enrollments are going extremely well. Whether you are looking for academic support or enrichment opportunities for your children, I think you will find there is something for everyone. Again, here is the link for more information.
