Demo Memo

Watching our boys basketball team this past Friday, lose a heartbreaker in triple overtime to Roosevelt reminded me of a few things:

• The passion this community has our athletic program "School of Champions"
• The Demos have grit & high expectations of themselves
• Jefferson HS is a SPECIAL PLACE!!!

From the casual fan, alum and parents- they all love their DEMOS!!!!!

What an honor for me to be the Principal of this AMAZING PLACE!!!!!

Student Intervention Team- just a reminder that if you have student(s) that have gone through your Tier 1 supports and you have tried reaching out to Larry "Bubba" for attendance, SPED case managers for those who are receiving SPED supports and Causey for behavior please make sure to send names to our Vice Principals to get their names on SIT.

• Gregory- 9th/10th
• Love- 11th/12th

SIT allows for more individualized interventions/supports. Once you provide the names the Vice Principal will follow-up with the intervention/plan

IF YOU MISSED THE ANNOUNCEMENTS, HERE IS THE CONSTANTLY UPDATING LINK OF DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS.

• PCC classes will be in session on Monday February 20th. If your student has a Monday PCC course, they need to attend it.

• Textbooks for winter term are now available. Please check with Middle College coordinators for details. If your student has textbooks from previous terms, please return them to the Middle College office.

• Students should be following their PCC schedule on flex days.

• Check in with your Beyond High School teacher or Middle College Coordinators (DaMarcus and Tahja) to update them about how you’re doing in your class.

• PCC Middle College Office is now virtual on Fridays, 9am-4pm. This is accessible through Google Meet using the code: PCC
