Staff Spotlight
Chuck Moehling - custodian
Chuck is one of the hardest working people I know. He is always willing to help out with anything and the students think he is great! You might see Chuck fixing things, cleaning things or even eating lunch with students. Be sure to say hi if you see him around!
Jeff Carlson - 5K teacher
Jeff is our new 5K teacher this year. Jeff is enthusiastic and fun in the classroom. This is his first year teaching and he is excited to learn what 5K is all about. He is a great addition to our already great staff!
Alysha Nelson - Second grade teacher
Alysha is teaching second grade and is excited to be a part of our staff. She is ready to always go that extra step for her students and comes in with a smile everyday! We are lucky to have Alysha as part of our staff!
Important Times to Remember...
As a reminder, students are not supervised before school until 7:30. Please make note of this when dropping your student off in the morning. The elementary school hours are from 7:45 - 2:50.

A Look Back at September
The Butterfly Lady
First graders have been watching the metamorphosis of monarchs in the classroom and were thrilled when Karen Albrecht, The Butterfly Lady, came for a visit with 13 tagged monarchs for us to release.
The Energy Bus
Mr. Wagner and some of the football players came to talk to us about how they use the energy bus on their football team. We even got to participate in what they do in the huddle after games!
Adopt a Classroom
Maurices employees raised money for the elementary school through the adopt a classroom program. We were presented with a check for $100 to use for classroom items!
