By Alondra Ray, Jamie Kohler, and Aaron Axness
Homer Baron was found dead the morning of February 13th in the home of the recently deceased Emily Grierson. Before the discovery of his body Mr. Homer was thought to have disappeared or gone missing. Evidence confirms an arsenic poisoning as the cause of death of Mr. Baron. The investigation has led us to believe that the suspect, Emily Grierson, has been sleeping in the company of Homer’s corpse for numerous years. Suspicion was sparked when a repulsive odor emerged from the home; neighbors and public describe the smell to be “wretchedly nauseating”. Action was taken by the townspeople to annihilate the scent with lime shavings exterior to the surrounding of the home. These events are the stepstones that led to the discovery of Homer Baron’s decaying body.
