PTA Family Holiday Arts & Craft/SVES Bake Sale
Our PTA will be hosting a PTA Family Holiday Arts & Craft evening on Thursday, December 1 from 6:00 – 7:30.
PTA has already “rented” eight spots to local vendors. Vendors will have many different kind of items for sale. There will also be craft tables set up for students to make a special holiday crafts. They will also sell hot chocolate too. Sam will have to help determine how she wants the tables set up. They will need ALL of the white folding tables that are in the building.
Clayton YES will move from the café to the gym starting at 5:30 so PTA can begin to set up in the cafeteria. PTA will decorate the windows with snowflakes using window pens. There will also be places in the gym that will be used for the evening event. We will have to work around Clayton YES until all students are picked up.
Ready to BAKE? We need you!! We would like to have a bake sale table where baked goods are made by PTA & SVES teachers/staff. We need YOU to volunteer to work at the bake sale table. Sam has offered to have ALL PROCEEDS FROM THE BAKE SALE PLACED IN OUR STUDENT ACTIVITY FUND. This will help us with the cost of field trips or other instructional items that we need. A sign-up sheet will be made soon for those who would like to help out.

December 15 - West Fork Ranch, Enclave & Basswood Village Community Event in front of our school
West Fork Ranch HOA Request
Each year the West Fork Ranch community plans various events to help the community get to know one another and fellowship. In the past they have done door to door caroling but because of the rapid growth of this community they found last year it was too daunting of a task. This year they have asked to host an event where the community can come together in a central location to share in the spirit of the holidays, sing a few songs and exchange cookies.
I received an email from a member of the HOA social committee this week. They are requesting to use the front of our school and our parking lot area for their planned event!! I asked if they could also extend the invitation to the families that live in Basswood Village & Enclave too. I should be receiving the information to share with these other families soon.
This is an amazing opportunity for us to get to know more of our community. Right now they are planning to host this event on Thursday, December 15 from 6:30 - 8:30. I do understand that this is a very busy time of year. If you have the opportunity to stay for this event, it would be a great chance to meet & greet many of our families we haven't seen.
