Happy New Year

Happy New Year and Welcome Back! I hope everyone had a nice and restful Christmas Break. Here's a look at what we have coming up this month.

We will be reviewing our rules and routines, re-acclimating all of our students after having been home. Penguins will be our theme for the first half of January. We will learn a little bit about Martin Luther King, Jr. before moving on to learning about hibernation. We will conclude our hibernation theme with a pajama and teddy bear day. I will let you know the date when we get closer.

Hopefully the cold weather is here to stay, at least for a little while. Please be sure your child's name is in his/her coat. If you prefer, you can write it on masking tape and put that inside the coat.

Thank you to everyone for helping make our Christmas party a big success. We hope that you enjoyed your gifts from your child. They had a lot of fun making them.

Classroom Volunteers

A new signupgenius.com went out for small group help. We usually only have one mom for Thursdays and would really like to have two, so if you are able to help out, please let me know. It only takes 20 minutes.

We really appreciate our parents who are able to help in the classroom and those parents who send in items. I understand not being able to volunteer in person -- please know that your support and generosity are greatly appreciated.
