Poetry Heart Map
A heart map contains all the people, places, things or ideas that you hold close to your heart. Create a heart map to celebrate what is special to you.
1. Draw a big heart on a piece of paper with colored pencils, crayons, and/or markers. You can also choose to go outside with your chalk and draw a big heart on the sidewalk or driveway.
2. Fill the heart with things that you love. Write and/or draw about your favorite people, places, activities, and things that you love. You can make your heart look like puzzle pieces putting something you love inside each piece. You can make your heart as detailed and fancy or as simple as you wish.
3. Share your heart with someone close to you and/or take a picture and send it to Mrs. Hallier at dhallier@usd232.or
Below is the heart map I made, but you can make yours however you wish!
