The Titanic
Voices from the disaster
Summary
Panic. Fear. Confusion. All of these things were circling around in the passengers heads when the first heard that the Marvelous Titanic was sinking beneath their very feet. This book was written by people who where there and survived the sinking of the 52,000 ton ship. Some of the stories were taken from journal entries, while others were told purely for the purpose of the book.
Power In the Writing
This book was powerful because it was written by people who were there when the disaster happened, people who had experienced it firsthand. There were so many details that you would not typically find in a historical account of the Titanic sinking.
