Back to School Grab & Go Information

Dear Parents,


Please read the information below to make plans to pick up items that will be needed at the beginning of the school year.

Requesting a district device:

- Familes enrolled for KVA, may request one device PER student.

- Families that opted for in-person school may request one device per family for Intermittent Virtual Learning (August 19 - September 7).

- Parents who requested a device will receive an email this week with specific information on when to pick-up a device from Hutsell on August 17 or 18 (with the other supplies).


Click on the button below if you need to request a device, device requests received on 8/17 or 8/18 will be scheduled as time permits.

Current & Upcoming Events


August 6 - 18 - Open Enrollment: visit the KISD Online Enrollment for information about the Annual Student Update or New Student Registration


August 17 & 18 - Grab & Go notices - Parents will receive a notification via email to pick-up their school materials on Thursday, August 13 or on Friday, August 14. Please make plans to stop by Hutsell to pick up your family bags as they contain information your students will need to start school such as student ID, planner, requested devices, Family Number / Car Rider tag, School Supplies box (if ordered) and more!


August 17 - parents can see teacher assignments in HAC

August 17 & 18 - Virtual Meet the Teacher Night - Homeroom teachers will contact parents with information on how to watch videos or access information.


August 19 - First Day of School (KVA/Intermittent Virtual School) and Fall Semester

Back to School Grab & Go

We are excited to let you know that we'll be welcoming our students and their parents to come drive through a Back-to-School Grab & Go on August 17th and 18th to pick up possible items needed to start the school year off right such as, ID's, purchased school supplies, technology, etc.



Monday, August 17th

8:30 - 11:30 - Students with last name A - G

12:30 - 3:30 - Students with last name H - M


Tuesday, August 18th

8:30 - 11:30 - Students with last name N - S

12:30 - 3:30 - Students with last name T - Z and anyone else that couldn't attend on Monday or on Tuesday morning.


For families with various last names, please use the OLDEST child's last name to collect items.


We are assigning permanent number to each family, if you have more than one student at Hutsell, you will receive a bag with all students' belongings together.

2019-2020 Yearbooks

We will have a table for any parent that would like to purchase a yearbook for $20.00 during Grab & Go. Please remain in your car and bring exact cash in a ziploc bag. Thank you!

Our school Supply List for this year, can be found on our website under "Other Links." If you ordered school supplies from PTA, they will be available for pick-up during the Grab & Go event on August 17 & 18; please see schedule above.
